As well as a beautiful bar and restaurant, we have some other facilities we offer to guests:
- Our living room is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day, we also have a range of books to read during your stay.
- Guests can use the shared kitchen, complete with a fridge, microwave and stove
- Stamped postcards may be left at our reception for the post-service
- Guests also have access to our laundry service, contact reception for details
Due to rebuilding our sauna and spa are closed.

Take a look around
Our hotel is reminiscent of the true feeling of Svalbard in the mining days, but not just inside:
Walking through our gate you will be greeted by an old miner, looking towards the Gruvebus (once used to drive workers to the mines – but now our smoking shelter).
Beside that you can see our beautiful boat where guests can climb the stairs to the deck and enjoy a seat (and perhaps a drink from the bar) overlooking Longyearbyen and admiring the surrounding mountains.
The outer buildings are decorated with wooden planks and fencing materials salvaged from out-of-use mines. We hope you will love the atmosphere we strive to create inside and outside of our authentic hotel.
