Terms and Conditions

  1. Booking is considered accepted upon confirmation unless errors are reported immediately in writing.
  2. In case of flight cancellation, reimbursement for the guest’s stay is the airline’s responsibility. Due to extreme weather in Svalbard, travel insurance is strongly recommended.
  3. If you cannot arrive on your reservation date, please notify us as soon as possible so we can hold your booking. If you do not notify us or check in on the check-in date, your reservation will be canceled and recorded as a no-show.
  4. Official check-in time is 14:00, and check-out time is 11:00. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and will incur an additional fee of 315 NOK
  5. Any additional charges, including but not limited to those for indoor smoking or property damage, will be billed to the guest’s account.
  6. Guests are kindly advised that the Hotel is not responsible for personal belongings that may be lost or misplaced during their stay.
  7. We have only two single rooms designated for guests with dogs. If you plan to bring a dog, please contact the hotel directly to confirm availability and fee. Without prior confirmation, check-in with a dog cannot be guaranteed.

Cancellation Policy (does not apply to non-refundable bookings)

0 – 4 guests cancellation 0-7 days before arrival will incur a 100% charge.

5 – 9 guests cancellation 0-30 days (one month) before arrival will incur a 100% charge.

10 – 15 guests cancellation 0-90 days (three months) before arrival will incur a 100% charge.

16 + guests cancellation 90 – 180 days (three to six months) before arrival will incur a 40% charge
Cancellation 0 – 90 days (three months) before arrival will incur a 100% charge

If you have any questions regarding the cancellation policy, please request clarification at the moment of booking. Later remarks will not be accepted.
