Mary-Ann’s Polarrigg offers a variety of room types to suit your needs, from affordable accommodation for those who simply need a comfortable bed for their stay to more luxurious options for those looking for something extra.
Whatever type of room you choose, we can assure you of a pleasant and comfortable stay.
All guests are welcome to use our shared kitchen and dining area, and the TV lounge with sofas and a large collection of literature about Svalbard.
Single rooms with shared bathroom
Our single rooms, close to the Restaurant in the Gruveriggen building, are the old accommodation of the miners of Longyearbyen so are small barracks of a basic standard with shared showers and toilets on the same corridor.
Please note that to access the Reception and Living Room, you will need to exit the building and use a separate entrance.
Twin Rooms with shared bathroom
Our standard twin rooms, close to the Reception and cozy Living Room in the Gruveriggen building, are the old accommodation of the miners of Longyearbyen so are small barracks of a basic standard with shared showers and toilets on the same corridor.
Please note that to access the Restaurant, where we serve breakfast, you will need to exit the building and use a separate entrance.
Double and Deluxe Double rooms with private bathroom
In our Heritage Mining Rig which was completed in 2002, we have double and deluxe double rooms. Each room has its private bathroom with a shower and is uniquely decorated with a warm atmosphere.
These rooms feature two single beds that are typically joined together to form a double. However, they can also be separated upon request for individual use.
Please note that these rooms are located in a separate building, just a few steps away from the Restaurant, as well as the Living Room and Reception area.
